Abstract:
Based on the state-space model of permanent magnet synchronous generator(PMSG)and static var generator(SVG),the paper establishes the reduced-order state-space model of PMSG-based wind farm with SVG. It is found that SVG in the PMSG-based wind farm may cause wideband oscillation. A design method of wideband oscillation damping controller is proposed to suppress the wideband oscillation in the PMSG-based wind farm with SVG. On the basis of the reduced-order state-space model,taking the damping ratio of a target oscillation mode as the objective function,the controller parameters are adjusted by optimization algorithm. In the end,the mode analysis and time-domain simulation analysis on grid-connected PMSG-based wind farm system are carried out,verifying the effectiveness of the wideband oscillation damping controller.
