Abstract:
With the proportion increase of renewable energy generation, the power system has source-load double uncertainty, having negative effect on frequency stability. The paper proposes a distributed load frequency control(LFC)method by combining the multiagent consensus algorithm with dynamic surface control to enhance the frequency regulation performance of the power system. Firstly, the structure of frequency control model is given, and the system framework and the decentralized area observer are designed. Then considering the influence of communication delay, the controller structure for each area is designed. Finally, the effectiveness and superiority of this method is verified with the simulation of the interconnected power system. Compared with the traditional control method, this method improves LFC performance and enhances the consistency of frequency regulation among the areas.
