$ {U}_{\mathrm{m}\mathrm{a}\mathrm{x}
1
\mathrm{O}} $
<
img text_id='M1' class='formula-img' style='display:none;' src='2022-147_M1.jpg'>
$ {U}_{\mathrm{m}\mathrm{a}\mathrm{x}
3
\mathrm{O}} $
<
img text_id='M2' class='formula-img' style='display:none;' src='2022-147_M2.jpg'>

2
\mathrm{O}} $
<
img text_id='M3' class='formula-img' style='display:none;' src='2022-147_M3.jpg'>
$ {U}_{\mathrm{m}\mathrm{a}\mathrm{x}
3
\mathrm{O}} > $
<
img text_id='M4' class='formula-img' style='displ

This paper studies the internal flow dynamics of a continuous-discrete pulsing jet fluidic oscillator and the influence of splitter on its outlet peak velocity and oscillating frequency. For that purpose
two-dimensional unsteady numerical simulations were conducted

and three oscillator models (two continuous-discrete pulsing oscillators with different splitting distances and a continuous sweeping oscillator).Results show that there are at least three different velocity peaks in one period at both outlets of continuous-discrete pulsing oscillators. When the splitting distance increases
the first peak velocity (

the third one (

3

while the second peak velocity (
