This article targets the application scenario of constructing a fully indoor 110 kV substation in urban areas using air-supported membrane structures. Facing the problem of insufficient construction space under the curved air-supported membrane in general scenarios
vertical air-membrane ribs are added under the curved membrane to increase the internal height of the membrane structure and meet construction requirements. The optimization scheme
which adds vertical membrane sections under a general air-supported membrane structure
has been proven through simulation analysis to withstand possible operating conditions. It demonstrates that the new structure formed by the membrane surface and cables constitutes an organic whole
with structural stress-level deformations not exceeding 1/10 of the vertical height and vertical deformations not exceeding 1/30 of the span
meeting safety requirements. This optimized air-supported membrane structure scheme can effectively meet the construction needs of fully indoor substations in urban areas and provides a reference for improving the applicability of air-supported membrane structures in substation engineering.
