The dynamics and uncertainties in production logistics process of made-to-order (MTO) manufacturing enterprises make the configuration of production logistics transportation resources difficult. This paper proposes an optimal configuration method whose object is to minimize the total operating cost of the production logistics system in consideration of the dynamics and uncertainties of production logistics requirements of manufacturing enterprise in the whole year
replaceability of logistic transportation resources and the constraints of working hours. In a case study
the optimal genetic algorithm is used to solve the configuration formulation and proves quite effective.
