The recycling mode of using waste catalyst to prepare regenerated TiO2-WO3 powder for catalyst production is the mainstream process of resource utilization of waste flue gas denitration catalyst in thermal power plants. Currently
due to lack of the clear professional standard and effective quality supervision
the regenerative Ti O2-WO3 powder products generally have such quality defects as high contents of impurities and toxins
large content deviations of active ingredients
large particle size and poor uniformity
low specific surface area and pore volume
irrational pore structure. These defects would bring quality problems for downstream catalyst products
including deterioration of geometrical features
increase of unit density
decline of reaction activity and stability
low toxin resistance and short chemical life-time. In this case
the quality standards and detection methods should be established immediately
and the specific SCR catalyst management mode should be developed for thermal power plants
to guide a better development of the SCR catalysts recycling industry.
