High temperature corrosion is easy to occur on water wall of boiler with swirl combustion mode
and this phenomenon is more obvious on boiler with low nitrogen combustion. Aimed at the deficiency of conventional antihigh temperature corrosion wall-attached wind
a combined wall-attached wind technique is developed in this paper
and industrial tests on a 600 MW unit opposed-fired boiler are carried out. The actual application results show that
the combined wall-mounted wind can dramatically increase the O_2 volume fraction in the near wall and reduce the H_2S volume fraction
thus to decrease the high temperature corrosion risk in water wall. The wall-attached air system had no obvious effect on operating parameters of the boiler such as NO_x emissions
main steam temperature and fly ash carbon content. The oxidation atmosphere can be maintained in the near wall area of the water wall when the oxygen content and the opening degree of the over fire air valve changed
which alleviated the high temperature corrosion problem of water wall of the opposed-fired swirl combustion boiler.
