Compared with the conventional compressed air energy storage system
the non afterburning compressed air energy storage system adds the heat storage link
removes the combustion link
and does not need fossil fuel supplement
which realizes energy conservation and environmental protection and is the recommended compressed air energy storage system in China at present
In this paper
the first 500 kW non afterburning compressed air energy storage power generation demonstration system in China is modeled and simulated with professional software
and the compression process and expansion process are simulated. The correctness of the simulation model is verified by comparing the simulation data with the experimental data. Then
the energy consumption of each component of the 500 kW non afterburning compressed air energy storage system is analyzed by means of exergy analysis method. The results show that
the exergy loss in expansion process is the largest and that in heat exchange process is the smallest
which points out the system optimization direction.
