a 330 MW circulating fluidized(CFB) bed unit can maintain 30% load segment operation for a long time. However
the problems of poor thermal efficiency
high power generation cost and difficulty in putting into automatic operation are more prominent in deep peak-regulating. By analyzing the deep peak-regulating operation data
the performance evaluation process of deep peak-regulating was established in this paper. In the process of analyzing the thermal performance and generation cost of the unit and other problems during deep peak-regulating
the influence of coal particle size and fluidized air volume on furnace material distribution was studied. Moreover
the economics of deep peak-regulating were calculated. The results show that
the CFB unit has natural advantages and feasibility under deep peak-regulating conditions. After the retrofitting
the 330 MW CFB unit can perform stable peak-regulating for more than 6 hours per day
and get about 17 million yuan in benefits. The research results in this paper can provide a reference for the future transformation of deep peak-regulating of CFB units.
