In order to explore the feasibility of burning sintering flue gas in circulating fluidized bed(CFB)
a large capacity thermogravimetric analyzer(LC-TGA) was used to study the combustion characteristics of Zuoyun bituminous coal
Pingshuo bituminous coal and Qianjiaying bituminous coal in synthetic gas(low oxygen content and contains CO) with similar composition as sintering flue gas. Moreover
the effect of CO volume fraction on the coal combustion of was studied. The results show that
the change of oxygen concentration and combustion temperature will greatly affect the combustion of coal in low oxygen content atmosphere. CO has obvious oxygen grabbing behavior during coal burning
and this ability is closely related to temperature but less related to oxygen volume fraction. At 750 ℃
the oxygen-grabbing capacity of CO combustion is stronger than that of coal combustion
but when the temperature rises to 850 ℃
the oxygen-grabbing capacity of CO combustion is weaker than that of coal combustion. The experimental results can provide the reference for further development of sintering flue gas CFB combustion technology.
