HUANG Jinyang, ZHONG Qiang, HUANG Haogang, et al. Structure analysis of aluminized coatings on P92 steel prepared by pack cementation aluminizing and vapor aluminizing[J]. Thermal power generation, 2020, 49(3): 124-129.
The deposition characteristics of the aluminized coating prepared by pack cementation aluminizing and chemical vapor infiltration aluminizing about P92 heat-resistant steel at 760 ℃ were analyzed. SEM/EDS and XRD analysis were employed to characterize the structure
ingredient and phase composition. The diffusion behaviors of Al and Fe atoms were compared and discussed. The results show that
the aluminized coatings were successfully prepared on P92 heat-resistant steel using both pack cementation aluminizing and chemical vapor infiltration aluminizing. A three-layered aluminized coating
with thickness of 19 μm
was formed on P92 heatresistant steel and an excellent bonding was also obtained between the coating and the substrate by pack cementation method. The phase composition of the aluminized coating consisted of Fe2 Al5
FeAl
and Fe3 Al from the surface to inside. The mass fraction of Al in the whole coating was 26.5%. However
a single layered aluminized coating
with thickness of 12 μm
was prepared on P92 steel by chemical vapor infiltration aluminizing. The phase composition mainly consisted of Fe3 Al and Al-rich compounds. The mass fraction of Al in the single coating was about 9.5%.
