According to the criteria of selecting evaluation indexes for coal-fired power plants and the characteristics of gas-fired power plants
this paper establishes a multi-level evaluation system for gas-fired power plants considering five aspects including safety and environmental protection
reliability
equipment management
economic production and operation. The entropy weight grey correlation degree method is used to evaluate the three-level indexes
and the second level index evaluation results are obtained. The principal component analysis method is used to calculate the second level index evaluation results
and the overall performance ranking of the power plant is obtained. In order to verify the feasibility and accuracy of this method
six different types of gas power plants which have been put into operation are analyzed
and the results are compared with that using the entropy weight grey correlation degree method and the entropy weight TOPSIS method. The results show that
the influence of all levels of indexes on the overall performance of gas power plant agree well with the actual situation. This result provides a modeling method and the basis for selection of indexes for comprehensive evaluation of gas power plants.
