LIU Daoyuan, ZHU Pengbo, JIANG Guoce, et al. Thermodynamic calculation method for natural ventilation cooling towers running in parallel[J]. Thermal power generation, 2019, 48(12): 134-137.
the study on thermodynamic calculation of cooling towers running in parallel is insufficient. On the basis of analyzing the characteristics of parallel operation of natural ventilation cooling towers
this paper carries out a comprehensive study on thermodynamic calculation methods for cooling towers in parallel operation
by using the enthalpy potential method
exhaustion method and regression analysis method. Moreover
combining with the practical examples
it verifies the effectiveness of the methods. The results show that
in parallel operation
the parameters of the two cooling towers
such as the structural type
climatic conditions
water inlet temperature
equivalent temperature rise
and the temperature rise of the cooling water flowing in and out of the condenser
are the same. The evaporation loss of the circulating water of one unit with double-tower and one unit with one tower are equal. Compared with the operating mode of one unit with one tower
the parallel operation of one unit with double-tower can save the energy significantly at different loads. The results can provide references for relevant renovation projects and the analysis on operational energy saving.
