China national standard GB/T 32151.1—2015 is the current reference standard for power generation enterprises to accounting CO_2 emission amounts and prepare the emission report for greenhouse gases. According to the standard
the accounting accuracy of the carbon oxidation rate will greatly affect the accounting accuracy of CO_2 emission. On the basis of 124 performance tests data for 40 large-scale coal-fired boilers
the distribution range of the carbon oxidation rate of the boilers with different scales and types was obtained statistically. Moreover
the relativity relationship between the carbon oxidation rate and load ratio or coal property was analyzed from statistical point of view. The results show that
the carbon oxidation rate of large-scale(300 MW and above) coal-fired boilers(except anthracite-and lean coal-fired boiler) was larger than the recommended value 98% of the standard. The carbon oxidation rate increased with the boiler scale and the carbon oxidation rate of the tangentially-fired boilers was higher than that of the opposed firing boilers. Besides
the carbon oxidation rate had weakly negative correlation with ash content of the coal and weakly positive correlation with total water content of the coal
while it was almost uncorrelated with the load ratio
the carbon content of the coal and the coal volatile matters.
