By analyzing working process and principle of the miniature compressed air energy storage system
exergy analysis method was applied to establish a theoretical analysis model for energy storage process and energy release process. Moreover
an evaluation model of the exergy efficiency of the system was build up. The process simulation model of energy storage subsystem and energy release subsystem was established by using the Aspen Plus software
and the effects of inlet pressure
initial expansion temperature
system flow rate and other factors on performance of the expander and the system efficiency were analyzed. The simulation results show that
increasing the inlet pressure
initial expansion temperature
system flow rate and expansion ratio can effectively increase the output shaft work of the system. The higher the expansion ratio and the initial expansion temperature
the higher the efficiency of the system
but the slower the growth rate. The system flow rate has little effect on the system efficiency. The above thermodynamic analysis model of micro compressed air energy storage system and simulation results can correctly reflect the influence law of key input parameters on the output characteristics of the expander
which can provide a theoretical basis for design of efficient micro compressed air energy storage systems.
