Accurately acquiring the relationship of unit power
heat load and standard coal consumption of cogeneration unit can allow the unit to be carefully managed
minimize operating costs and maximize profits. Based on the EBSILON software
this study establishes an evaluation model for the power-heat-coal relationship of cogeneration units. For the subcritical 300 MW cogeneration unit using connected-tube extraction heating mode and the zero-output heating mode of the low-pressure cylinder
the relational characteristics of unit power-heat loadstandard coal consumption are calculated and analyzed. The results show that the standard coal consumption tends to increase linearly with the unit power. Under the same unit power
the standard coal consumption of the zerooutput heating mode of the low-pressure cylinder is about 5.4 t/h higher than of the maximum heating condition of the connected-tube extraction heating mode. In addition
the standard coal consumption also increases linearly with the heat load. Under the same heat load
the standard coal consumption of the zero-output heating mode of the lowpressure cylinder is about 13.2 t/h lower than of the maximum heating condition of the connected-tube extraction heating mode. It is recommended that
the cogeneration unit should aim at the lowest energy consumption or the highest profits
and analyze the plant-level optimization of the cogeneration unit to realize the intelligent optimal control of the cogeneration unit.
