The noise in air compressor house of Zheneng Jiaxing Power Generation Co Ltd is heightened up to 104 dB(A)

seriously exceeding the set standard.These noises include aerodynamic noise

electromagnetic noise

mechanical noise

and radiation noise etc..Based on actual situation in the field

many measures

such as repairing original blimp of the air compressor

installing noise reducer for exhaust air from the air compressor

fully using noise absorption roof on top of the air compressor house

installing steel-framed sound proof door and plastic coated sound proof windows

additionally installing low noise axial-flow fan

and the exhaust air pipe from dryer of the air compressor being connected into silo etc.

have been taken.After implementation

the average noise in the air compressor house has been decreased to only 8.22 dB(A)

being lower than 85 dB(A) specified in National Standard

having remarkable effectiveness.
