The analysis of vibration situation for flue duct in tail section of boiler no.8 at Guohua Taicang Power Generation Co Ltd

as well as about fractures on pipes of losing bowels in the steam-cooled wall of boiler no.1 in Guohua Cangdong Power Generation Co Ltd and in Guohua Dingzhou Power Generation Co Ltd has been presented

it is believed that the main cause is due to the falling away frequency of the Karman vortex being near to the acoustic standing wave frequency of the equipment

resulting in occurence of high frequency resonance in the equipment.For this

some measures

such as installing baffle plates in the economizer region of flue duct in tail section of the boiler

and adding pipe clamps on the front steam-cooled wall of the boiler etc.

have been put forward.After implementation

the vibration phenomenon of flue duct in tail section of the boiler and fracture troubles on pipes of losing bowels on the front steam-cooled wall haven't occurred again in operation regardless under high or low load of the boiler.
