EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON MEASURING CONCENTRATION OF PULVERIZED COAL IN PRIMARY AIR PIPE CONDUIT OF THE BOILER[J]. Thermal power generation, 2004, (9): 19-21. DOI: 10.19666/j.rlfd.2004.09.007.
An onsite test of primary air for a 100MW coalfired boiler has been carried out
the pipe resistance behavier under singlephase and doublephase flow conditions being measured
and applicable curves being obtained. Results show that the resistance behavier in the primary air transporting pulverized coal (PC) pipe conduit is mainly determined by PC distributer with a special structure. Under condition of PC concentration obtained in the test to be 0.29~0.49 kg (coal) / kg (Air)
the correlation between coeficient of resistance K and PC concentration μ for a doubletray PC mixer
as well as between resistance of the primary air pipe conduit Δp and PC concentration μ has been analysed. It was found that the two phase flow resistance K isn’t a constant
