The treatment methods in common use for inner cooling water of generators at home and abroad have been presented

including methods of mixed bed

condensate adding

alkalifying

using inhibitor

and closed type isolated cooling water system etc.

giving the effectiveness

as well as merits and demerits of the abovementioned methods. It is pointed out that the development and manufacture of copper inhibitor

especially the composite inhibitor

to be an effective way for optimizing the quality of inner cooling water.
