STUDY ON EFFECTS OF A WET SCRUBBER UPON CONTROLLING THE PAHS EMISSIONS[J]. Thermal power generation, 2004, (1): 18-22. DOI: 10.19666/j.rlfd.2004.01.005.
Experimental studies on the effects of a wet scrubber upon controlling the PAHS emissions have been carried out on a 150t/d circulating fluidized bed MSWcoal mixfired lncinerator
fly ash before said scrubber being taken and analysed. Results show that the particles and PAHS on the particle appear as logarithmic noctmal distribution along with the diameter of particles
PAHS being absorbed much more on the fine particle. The concentration of PAHS in flue gas has been measured simultaneously before and after the wet scrubber under four operating conditions. Results indicate that the wet scrubber has certain effectiveness on removing PAHS
especially for MMW(moderate molecular weight) and HMW(high molecular weight) PAHS. The wet scrubber under longterm operation has an obvious “memory effect” for PAHS
and the said memoryeffect has a negative influence on controlling PAHS emissions.
