STUDY ON VALVES' OVERLAP IN RETROFITTING THE STEAM TURBINE GOVERNING SYSTEM[J]. Thermal power generation, 2003, (5): 41-43. DOI: 10.19666/j.rlfd.2003.05.013.
Study and analysis on the problem of non-suitable Valves’ overlap disposition in retrofitting the steam turbine governing system have been carried out. It is suggested that the overlap of each governing valve can’t be adjusted to zero in order to decrease throttling loss of steam admission after the steam distributing mechanism has been retrofitted from hydraulic regulation to electrohydoaulic regulation. The test results of valves’ characteristic curve of a 200MW steam turbine are given.
