COMBUSTION IMPROVEMENT BY ADDING STEAM TO SECONDARY AIR IN A SPREADER - STOCKER BOILER[J]. Thermal power generation, 1997, (2): 61-62. DOI: 10.19666/j.rlfd.1997.02.020.
It is quite often to see in spreader - stocker boilers that a good deal of fly ash with high carbon content comes from combustion chamber. Adding steam to the secondary air can intensify the suspension combustion and lower the high temperature zone in combustion chamber. As a result
the fly ash can be reduced by 30%
and carbon content in fly ash obivously reduced too.
