by using oxgen and ammonia to control the quality of boiler feedwater
is one of the advanced techneques applicable in fossil-fired power plants. This paper describes the first application of this technique on a 300MW unit with a subcritical oncethrough boiler. This initial operation shows that it is very successful and effective both in safety and economy. Some requirements are proposed to the application of CWT on the units with copper tubes. And CWT is further proposed to be widely used in Chinese power plants.
