emission reduction
the renovation of existing boilers has been comprehensively promoted and implemented in Guangzhou. In this study
the boilers of a typical Hospital in Guangzhou was used as the study object. From the comprehensive analysis of the current operation status of the boilers and the steam consumption data of 2021
it was found that the daily and monthly steam consumption has the characteristics of high variability. High NOxemission concentration
low boiler load and operation efficiency
large surface heat loss and exhausted gas loss as well as outdated control technology were obs
erved in the existing boilers. Three different low-NOx energy-saving renovations have been proposed
taking into account factors such as steam supply guarantee
boiler house and investment returns. The technical and economic feasibility analysis has been conducted. The results showed that option No.3 could save natural gas amounted 317 000 m~3 per year
with investment recovery period of 1.8 years and net present value of RMB 9 309 000
which presented high project implementation value. This study provided the reference for similar low-NOx energy-saving renovation projects.
