Abstract

The coal seam thickness is the main parameter for estimating resource reserve. As the main coal seam of Quanshuiao coal mine

its characterized by large thickness and complex Structure. This paper analyzes the coal seam by introducing the geological survey

the stratigraphic structure

the coal bearing strata and the coal quality characteristics of Ⅰ

3-2

coal seam in Quanshuiao coal mine. The determination of Ⅰ

3-2

coal seam thickness is discussed. Thickness is used by reference to the specification requirements. Combined with the mine geological characteristics and actual mining conditions to determine the thickness of coal seam.
