Abstract
The Walega gold deposit is located on the eastern Kunlun-Chaidamu metallogenic belt and has a certain scale deposits. This paper mainly discusses the origin of the deposits through the detailed study of the ore body characteristics. On the whole
the ore body is strictly controlled by fault structures
and the ore types are mainly altered rock types and quartz vein types. The metal minerals discovered so far are mostly associated with a set of middle and high grade metamorphic rock stratum. This set of stratum may be the main ore source bed of gold deposits in the region and provide material sources for the enrichment of late-stage gold.
