Aiming at the problem of many magnetic components in the quadratic converter
which causes the overall low power density and high loss of the converter
a novel magnetic integration decoupling method was proposed and a new integrated magnetic part was designed. Firstly
the circuit and magnetic circuit characteristics of the magnetic components
magnetic column flux distribution and decoupling conditions were analyzed by establishing an equivalent magnetic circuit model and using the magnetic permeability-capacitance analogous modeling method; secondly
model analysis was performed on the quadratic converter with the new integrated magnetic component
and the results show that the new integrated magnetic component does not affect the voltage gain and current ripple of the converter itself; the magnetic component was analyzed using finite element simulation software
and the simulation shows that the magnetic flux distribution of the magnetic core of the new integrated magnetic component is uniform
and the core utilization is high; finally
through the construction of the experimental prototype
the volume and mass of the new integrated magnetic component are reduced by 51.7% and 55.6%
respectively
compared with the independent magnetic component
which enhances the power density of the converter
reduces loss of the magnetic component
and improves efficiency of the converter
proving correctness and feasibility of the proposed magnetic integration method.
