A high-frequency link matrix converter(HFLMC)can realize DC/AC conversion with only one power conversion stage
which has high efficiency and power density. However
the conventional strategy produces a large voltage difference between the primary and secondary sides of the high-frequency transformer(HFT)
increasing the current stress on the switches and generating excessive total harmonic distortion in the three-phase output current. To suppress the HFT current stress
an symmetrical strategy was proposed to reduce the current stress by optimizing the active vector and the distribution of the zero vector. The proposed symmetrical SVM strategy was compared with the conventional one
and the optimal range of the phase shift angle was determined by analyzing the current stress. Compared with the conventional strategy
the simulation and experimental results show that the proposed strategy significantly reduces the HFT's current stress by 12.03%.
