麻凯, 袁成清, 郭智威. Effect of Double-Thread Groove Texture on the Friction and Wear Performance of Cylinder Liner and Piston Rings[J]. 2019, 40(2): 59-66. DOI: 10.13949/j.cnki.nrjgc.2019.02.009.
A kind of double-thread groove texture was designed. The double threaded grooves with different depths were machined on the inner surface of diesel engine cylinder liner using the computer numerical control precision machining technology. The depths of the grooves were 50μm
100μm
150μm
200μm and 250μm
and the width of the grooves was 3mm. Under the conditions of the same rotational speed and the same applied load
the effect of the groove texture with different depths on the friction and wear performance of cylinder liner and piston rings was studied using the TCLPR-1 cylinder liner and piston rings friction and wear tester. The experimental results show that the double-threaded grooves with different depths have great different effects on contact resistance
surface roughness and surface performance of cylinder liner and piston rings. The double-threaded groove with the suitable depth of 150μm can increase the thickness of oil film
improve the lubrication state of oil film
reduce wear and roughness
enhance the capacity to store lubricating oil and supporting performance of cylinder liner under the testing conditions. The double-threaded groove with the inappropriate depth of 50 μm does the opposite.
