The shortage of water resources has become an important bottleneck restricting the high-quality development of Jiashi County

thus reasonable development and intensive and efficient use of existing water resources are the necessary path to ensure the realization of high-quality development goals of Jiashi County. This article analyzes the current situation of water supply and usage in Jiashi County

and summarizes the main problems

i.e.

groundwater development exceeding its carrying capacity

lower water resource utilization efficiency and water use efficiency and insufficient groundwater monitoring methods. Combined with the current situation

it proposes to start from building a reliable water source guarantee system

accelerating the filling of water conservancy engineering weaknesses

and strengthening the construction of monitoring station networks

in order to provide water resource support for the high-quality development of Jiashi County in the future.
