eight counties(districts) in Hubei Province

including Yingcheng City

Jingshan City

and Yunyang District of Shiyan City

have deeply carried out the concept of “co-construction” and have successively been shortlisted for pilot construction. Based on detailed field research

this article summarizes five main practices and achievements in the construction of “beautiful water countryside” in Hubei Province from the perspectives of “co-search

co-construction

co-management

co-evaluation

and sharing”

and puts forward four suggestions

providing references for the subsequent construction of “beautiful water countryside”.
