To achieve efficient integration of renewable energy and economically viable supply of green hydrogen
this paper conducts an optimal configuration study on a weakly grid-connected "wind-solar-storage-hydrogen" system.Based on an analysis of the technical characteristics of various technologies
including wind power generation
photovoltaic power generation
electrochemical energy storage
water electrolysis for hydrogen production
and hydrogen storage
and taking into account the hydrogen supply load characteristic requirements of downstream chemical plants such as those producing sy nthetic ammonia
methanol
and aviation fuel
a systematic mathematical model is developed. This model defines the bidirectional power and hydrogen balance constraints
equipment operational constraints
and capacity constraints within the system
and establishes an optimization function aimed at minimizing the total system investment cost. The study proposes a system matching principle of "priority to wind and solar
hydrogen production as the mainstay
energy storage for regulation
and hydrogen as a buffer
" providing a theoretical basis and optimization method for the capacity planning and operation strategies of wind-solar-storage-hydrogen systems in green hydrogen-to-ammonia
-methanol
and-oil projects. This research offers guidance for promoting the large-scale
weakly grid-connected application of renewable-energy-based hydrogen production.
