The distributed power supply accesses the distribution network and constitutes a multi-power supply structure
which increases the complexity of the working mode of the distribution network and brings certain challenges to the reliable operation of the relay protection. In this paper
a typical distribution network model is selected as the main research object
and the quantitative analysis of the influence of accessing distributed power supply on the current protection of distribution network is carried out
and the allowable access capacity range of distributed power is concluded with the protection action threshold of the original three-stage current protection relay protection remains unchanged. Finally
this paper provides thoughts and prospects on whether future current protection systems can achieve adaptive functionality.
