To solve the problems of abnormal stress and stability risks in the upper structure of 110 kV overhead transmission towers in permafrost regions caused by foundation frost heave
and to ensure the safe and stable operation of transmission lines
this paper carries out relevant research.Based on the mechanical properties of frost-heaved soil and the design specifications for overhead transmission tower structures
combined with engineering practice cases in seasonal frozen regions and permafrost regions
the method of combining theoretical calculation and numerical simulation is adopted to systematically analyze the influence law of vertical displacement caused by foundation frost heave on tower axial force and main material stability stress
and put forward targeted prevention and control suggestions. The research results show that in the elastic working stage of the structure
the axial force and compressive stability stress of the main materials of the tower increase linearly with the increase of frost heave displacement;the ultimate frost heave displacement of the tower is affected by the dual coupling of the initial stress ratio of the main materials and the overall stiffness of the tower. The research results can provide a reliable theoretical basis and technical support for the design optimization
construction control and operation and maintenance management of 110 kV overhead transmission towers in permafrost regions.
