This paper takes Guangzhou Zengcheng Class 9H combustion turbine generator as an example
and systematically explores and optimizes pipeline flow rate selection
pressure drop optimization and economics of its main steam and reheat steam systems to achieve the optimal economic efficiency. Results show that the flow rate selection of main steam pipeline can still use DL/T 5054—2016 the values recommended in the code for design of steam/water piping of fossil-fired power plant
whereas it is not applicable to the reheated cold section. The economic analysis shows that the recommended flow rate of the main steam pipeline is about 40 m/s~60 m/s
and the recommended flow rate of the reheat and cold section is about 55 m/s~75 m/s.In addition
the pressure drop of the unit needs to be considered in the reheating section. The conclusions drawn in this present work are related to these factors such as pipeline layout
project funding
annual load
etc.
and can be used for similar projects to a certain extent.
