Based on the basic principles of seismic refraction wave and transient surface wave techniques and the geological characteristics of strongly cemented layers.Through numerical simulation and engineering case analysis
the application effects and geological interpretation capabilities of the two methods in the exploration of strongly cemented layers are analyzed. The research shows that the transient surface wave technique has high resolution and reliability in the exploration of strongly cemented layers
while the applicability of the seismic refraction wave technique is limited by the stratum structure and wave field characteristics
and only shows good results under specific conditions.
