Addition-cure liquid silicone rubber (ALSR) has become the preferred choice for insulating materials and semi-conductive materials for cable accessories due to its excellent electrical and mechanical performance. Affected by the purity of raw materials
crosslinking network and filling level
there is a certain gap between ALSR in China and the international advanced level in terms of key performance. This paper reviews the performance requirements
research progress of ALSR insulating materials and semi-conductive materials for cable accessories
focuses on the influence of fillers on the mechanical and electrical performance of ALSR
and summarizes the mechanism of filler amount
morphology and dispersion on the macroscopic performance of ALSR. Finally
the research trends of ALSR insulating materials and semi-conductive materials for cable accessories are envisioned
including the design of polymer chain structure and crosslinking network
the development of novel functional fillers
the enhancement of raw material purity and batch stability
and the development of low-cost raw material synthesis and purification technologies. This research can provide insights for the development of high-performance silicone rubber materials for cable accessories.
