Low-voltage flexible interconnection devices can transfer the lost loads in case of line failure and thus improve the power supply reliability of the distribution system. To address the issues of the reliability assessment and location/capacity planning in the case of flexible interconnection device access in low-voltage distribution station areas
this paper proposes a planning method for flexible interconnection devices in low-voltage distribution station areas based on explicit calculation of power supply reliability. Firstly
the principle of dividing the lost power types of low-voltage flexible interconnected station areas based on virtual currents is proposed
and the set of line N−1 faults is categorized. Secondly
the distribution network power supply reliability index and its explicit calculation method in the case of low-voltage flexible interconnection access are proposed with the user as the smallest transfer unit
and the planning model of the low-voltage flexible interconnection device access scheme is established by using power loss costs and installation costs of flexible interconnection devices as the objective function. Finally
the model is solved and the validity of the proposed planning method is verified in the IEEE RBTS BUS6 F4 distribution network case.
