To adapt to the increasing proportion of renewable energy in the power grid
a capacity planning method for large-scale wind-solar-storage bases is proposed
taking into account the credible and peak-shaving demands of the receiving-end power grid. The method extracts various credible and peak-shaving requirements of the receiving-end power grid
constructs corresponding principle frameworks and index calculation methods
and builds a new base capacity planning framework on this basis. The framework adopts a two-layer optimization model
optimizing the base's power transmission curve and power source allocation
respectively. The case study results demonstrate that the base's power transmission curve provided by the model has a stronger power supply capacity and reduces the peak-shaving pressure of the receiving-end power grid. The obtained planning capacity is also more reasonable. Through the above two aspects of optimization
the base's various benefits are significantly improved
and the amount of abandoned power is reduced. Additionally
for different wind-solar capacity ratios
the variation patterns of economic indicators are presented
and the main characteristics under different ratios are summarized. In summary
theoretical support is provided for the planning and design of large-scale wind-solar-storage bases
and reasonable power source allocation reference is given.
