In response to the challenges that the environmental value of green electricity is deficient in quantitative evaluation and not adequately reflected in market-clearing models
this study focuses on the context of inter-provincial centralized bidding transactions for green electricity. A new green electricity trading model that centres on environmental values is designed
and a quantitative evaluation model for green electricity's environmental value and a clearing method are established. Firstly
based on the current green electricity trading model
an environmental price allocation link is added
and a new green electricity trading model centred on environmental value is constructed. Under this model
the environmental value of green electricity is fully quantified through two concepts: the Carbon Offset Adjustment Coefficient and the Provincial Virtual Regulatory Unit. Subsequently
based on the quantitative assessment results of environmental value
a transaction clearing model that incorporates environmental value is established with the optimization objectives of maximizing environmental value and maximizing social welfare; NSGA-II(Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II)is employed to solve the model. Finally
the computational examples demonstrate that the proposed quantitative evaluation model and clearing method can effectively distinguish the power quality of different new energy power generators
allocate a larger share of electricity to high-quality generators
and significantly increase the environmental value generated by green power transactions while ensuring a reasonable and controllable social welfare level.
