The effective accounting of green electricity consumption is a crucial aspect of assessing the success of green electricity absorption
which serves as a core element in driving the energy transition. This paper proposes a method for estimating green electricity consumption based on users' objective and subjective electricity consumption characteristics. First
the system's green electricity is classified into two categories: directly traceable green electricity and green electricity to be allocated. The traceable green electricity can be directly accounted for through user transactions. For the green electricity to be allocated
an evaluation system based on system power flow distribution (objective electricity characteristics) and user electricity consumption behavior (subjective electricity characteristics) is constructed. The coefficient of variation method and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) are employed to calculate the weights of system-level and user-level indicators
respectively
and the green electricity is allocated to users according to these weights. Finally
a case study based on the IEEE 39-bus system was conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results indicate that users can enhance their green electricity absorption capabilities by improving the matching between their load curves and green electricity output periods
and by engaging in green electricity transactions with neighboring power stations.
