The green development of islands is a key component of the modern energy system. Exploring the multi-scenario applications of green ammonia
considering the development prospects of a power-to-ammonia technology
is crucial for advancing renewable energy consumption and achieving the dual-carbon goal. Firstly
by combining the endowment of scenic resources and the island's potential ammonia energy demand
we establish the framework for the independent island integrated energy system
considering the ammonia supply requirements
and propose a novel approach to the island's energy development. Secondly
this paper establishes a system model that considers the processes of electrolytic water hydrogen production
ammonia production
and waste heat recovery. Then
to ensure the reliability of the island's long-term energy supply and effectively mitigate the impact of uncertainties in the island's wind and solar resources
a multi-stage operational optimization scheduling strategy for the independent island integrated energy system is proposed
incorporating pre-weekly
day-ahead
and intra-day periods. This strategy seeks to fully exploit the advantages of ammonia energy's long-cycle storage capacity and facilitate the complete utilization of renewable energy. Finally
the simulation using an independent island in Fujian Province demonstrates that the proposed strategy can effectively promote wind and solar power consumption and enhance the reliability of ammonia supply on the island.
