The high proportion of renewable energy requires the power system to continuously strengthen “Two Rules” to ensure grids’ security
increasing pressure on the wind power assessment. Energy storage can effectively alleviate the frequency and degree of assessment. Hence
a combined operation strategy of wind storage is proposed for the multiple assessment indicators (MAI) of two rules. Firstly
the indicators elements of power prediction and timing pattern are analyzed. Considering its high percentage in the correlation coefficient assessment (CCA) and its influence on the prediction accuracy
a slope adjustment method of actual output curves is proposed to improve CCA. Secondly
a wind-storage adjustment strategy that considers both the CCA and short/ultra-short-term prediction accuracy is designed
and a CCA-prioritized wind-storage combined operation model is established. Given the strong coupling and nonlinear characteristics of the assessment indicators and their alignment with energy storage regulation effects
a modified threshold method is proposed. Examples show that the proposed method helps to improve the prediction accuracy
especially the correlation coefficient
while quantifying the impact of the initial state of charge and capacity of the energy storage on the assessment results
arguing that the strategy has good value for engineering applications.
