Abstract
To address the issue of wind and solar power curtailment in the distribution network
we propose a mechanism to enhance the local consumption of curtailed power through the deployment of electric vehicles (EVs). This design integrates the interactions among distributed generation (DG)
distribution system operators (DSOs)
and EV aggregators while considering the market closure threshold for DG. The proposed iterative market mechanism facilitates efficient intraday market clearing during wind and solar curtailment periods. It calculates the Distribution Locational Marginal Price (DLMP)
incorporating the blocking component and system electrical energy price
thereby establishing a market framework based on the spatial value of the node tariff's blocking component. Furthermore
we develop a DG offer modification strategy leveraging the spatial value and benefits of the price's blocking component. A maximum gain-variable step model is designed to adjust the offer steps
promoting DG consumption and enhancing benefits through market competition. We introduce an EV information declaration mechanism on the load side
formulating an EV volume-price curve that accounts for the sub-district power curtailment and an EV elasticity package aggregation model considering spatial and temporal coupling factors. This approach mitigates the impact of road network uncertainty on EVs
reducing the likelihood of defaults due to delays in reaching charging stations. Finally
an extended IEEE 33-node system example was used to verify the validity of the proposed market mechanism and scheduling strategy.
