Aiming at the problem that insulation defects are prone to occur during the impregnation process of dry-type bushing capacitor core
the multivariate kinetic model of the impregnation process for dry-type bushing capacitor core is investigated. Firstly
based on Poissuille's law
the main influencing factors of resin impregnated paper impregnation are analyzed
and the dynamic penetration behavior of epoxy resin in the insulating paper medium is studied. Then
a multivariate kinetic model of resin impregnated paper considering the cross-linking reaction of the impregnating liquid is established by monitoring the time-varying characteristics of key parameters of the impregnating liquid at different impregnation temperatures in situ. Finally
the reliability of the impregnation model is verified through the impregnation experiment of resin impregnated paper insulation
and the correlation between the impregnation characteristics of resin impregnated paper and the defects of capacitor core insulation is further analyzed. The results show that the impregnation characteristics of resin impregnated paper are jointly affected by the dynamic viscosity of the impregnating liquid
surface tension
contact angle
and capillary radius of the insulating paper
etc. Elevating the impregnation temperature accelerates the rate of change of the key parameters of the impregnating liquid
and at an impregnation temperature of 60℃
the impregnation behavior balances the high wettability and wide process window characteristics of the impregnation liquid. The measured value of the impregnation height of the resin impregnated paper is slightly higher than the calculated value of the model
and the maximum relative error of the model calculation is <13%. It is also found that the filling rate of impregnated paper is positively correlated with the impregnation rate. This impregnation model can be used to analyze the occurrence of insulation defects in capacitor cores under different impregnation processes.
