Abstract
To reduce the operation cost of the hydrogen-driven high-speed train clustered hybrid power system
improve the operation consistency of each power source and the fault tolerance of the system
this paper establishes a clustered multi-domain power supply topology
and proposes a hierarchical energy management method of cluster hybrid power system for hydrogen-driven high-speed trains. The method has a three-layer control architecture. First
this paper designs a distributed average state observer network based on the dynamic consensus algorithm to observe the average power of the fuel cell cluster and the cross-domain load demand power in real time. According to the observation results
combined with the real-time updated fault flag matrix
a multi-objective cost optimization function of the system considering energy consumption economy
fuel cell efficient operation interval and state of charge (SOC) fluctuation constraints is constructed and optimized. The bottom layer realizes the dynamic adjustment of SOC consistency between battery groups based on SOC balanced droop control. A hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform is built so as to test the proposed method. The results show that the proposed method can effectively maintain the inter-domain performance consistency while reducing the hydrogen consumption of the system
which is conducive to the improvement of the energy efficiency and durability of the system operation
and has good fault-tolerant control ability under fault conditions. Additionally
it has good scalability and is applicable to more marshalled trains.
