To improve the ability of the feeder selection results based on zero-sequence admittance method to withstand signal sensing errors and eliminate the influence of arc suppression coil on the zero-sequence admittance method
this paper proposes a feeder selection method tolerating transformer error in asymmetric distribution network based on arc-suppression component compensation. Firstly
the impact of the arc suppression coil on the measured zero-sequence admittance angle of each line and the reason why the zero-sequence admittance method fails due to the phase angle measurement error are analyzed. Secondly
the “similar ungrounded system” equivalent calculation circuit of arc suppression coil equivalent to the line side is established
the distribution proportion of arc suppression coil current in each line is obtained
and the feeder selection method based on compensating the arc-suppression components of each line is proposed
which amplifies the phase difference between the measured admittance of the fault line and that of the normal line to about 180° under any compensation state of the arc suppression coil. Finally
in order to obtain the arc-suppression component to be compensated on each line quickly and sensitively
the transient equivalent circuit at the moment of fault is constructed and the distribution ratio of the arc- suppression coil current on each line is measured in real time based on the orthogonal components of the transient zero-sequence current and the arc-suppression coil transient current on the transient zero-sequence voltage. In practice
the ability to tolerate the phase error of the measured admittance of line can reach 67.5°
and the line selection result is not affected by transition resistance and parameter asymmetry. The effectiveness of this method is verified by simulation and experiment under arc fault and different fault initial phase angles
and the accuracy of line selection can reach 100%.
