single-stage high- frequency link DC-AC converters are becoming more and more important in distributed power systems. The traditional control scheme has high peak inductor current during operation and complex current stress optimization function. For this reason
this paper proposes a current stress optimization method based on hybrid modulation strategy for single-stage high-frequency link DC-AC converter. First
the AC-side switch is controlled by high and low frequency interleaved control
which can reduce the number of high-frequency power devices and thus reduce the system switching loss. Then
the extended phase shift (EPS) modulation is divided into operating modes and the external mode is selected for the optimization solution. Combining EPS modulation
pulse width modulation and switching frequency modulation
thus forming a linear power control
greatly simplifies the complexity of controller design. In addition
a current stress optimization control method is designed and the soft-switching implementation conditions of all switching tubes are analyzed. Finally
the effectiveness of the proposed control method is verified by a 500 W experimental prototype.
