Surface dielectric barrier discharge (SDBD) can generate ozone and nitrogen oxides
and is widely applied in air purification
agricultural nitrogen fixation
and related fields. To achieve efficient and controllable regulation of SDBD product modes
this study develops an in-situ electrode temperature measurement and control system. The system integrates a dual-circuit structure of DC heating and AC discharge
enabling rapid response and precise control of electrode temperature within 50~300℃
while ensuring stable plasma generation. Through electrical measurements
optical diagnostics
and ammonia degradation experiments
the effects of electrode temperature on discharge characteristics
gas-phase reaction products and pollutant degradation effects are systematically investigated. Results show that increasing electrode temperature reduces breakdown voltage
enhances the reduced electric field
promotes N2 dissociation
and accelerates the transition from ozone to nitrogen oxides. In ammonia degradation experiments
the temperature- controlled SDBD system reduces degradation time by 43% and residual ozone by 73%. The study concludes that this system enables dynamic regulation of SDBD products
enhances pollutant degradation efficiency
and provides innovative technological pathways and theoretical support for plasma-based environmental applications.
